From an obscene wealth perspective
Some
Facts:
1) About 0.1% of earth population have an obscene amount of wealth.
2) The global climate crisis is growing and affecting everyone.
3) Global pollution including those impacting cancer, hormonal dysfunction,
mental function is growing and affecting everyone.
4) Overpopulation is not sustainable for the earth and it's limited resources.
5) Although consumption by a high population is the foundation of obscene
wealth, it is now consumption that feeds global climate crisis, and health
deterioration, which affects everyone.
6) Based on the four previous facts, a major consumption decrease is
unavoidable but no one is willing to do what's needed before they are forced
to. In fact, the symptoms of this refusal to reduce our footprint are
spreading in most countries. These symptoms include all the earmarks of
extremisms such as populism, racism, genderism, religionism, generationalism, elitism,
false nationalism and false regionalism, exploitative capitalism, corrupted
communism, impulsivism, irresponsibilism, and immaturism. Together, these
developments act globally and together to create a synergism toward violence
and much sufferings where ethical and humane behaviours are challenged.
7) Therefore, to be able to maintain their dominance and advantages, the
obscene wealthies have no choice but to accumulate even more wealth before the
upcoming unavoidable major economic downturn. To be able to do this, they feel
that all means including criminality, e.g. murder, as well as the so-called
legal means such as incarceration, extradition, bullying, oppressing, mobbing
are to be used.
8) This is what we observe in all despotic countries for a few years, and more
recently, in the US and some European countries. This abuse is predicted to
increase as the “accumulation window” for the obscenely wealthy closes.
9) Essentially, there is then only one question to be answered: Can the ethicals stand up in gentle strength, and peace before it is too late? One must be willing to learn the abilities to deal creatively with abuse, differences, diversity, and change. And it takes practice. When do we start?
